Still wrapped up in the caution tape used to hold
the kids back at the start, Travis King, 6, from Barstow, Ill., doesn’t
let that bother him as he hunts Easter eggs Saturday during the 18th
Annual Easter Egg Hunt presented by the Ranch Riders Motorcycle
Brotherhood at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport
Iowa .

The Ranch Riders Motorcycle Brotherhood can
be easy to spot. On the road, people notice them by their sleek black
Harleys and brightly colored do-rags. But for one day each
year, members can be spotted setting out thousands of Easter eggs
for a good cause.
More than 3,000 Quad-City children blasted through
hundreds of feet of yellow police tape Saturday afternoon. Scattered
across the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, more than 16,000
Easter eggs and goodies made the grass look as if a semi-truck full
of eggs had erupted on the Davenport lawn.
“There’s enough room for everyone to go
after the eggs,” said Jeremy Weggen, a Davenport father
of four who has brought his children to the hunt for the past few
years. “This is a great hunt.”
