At least 80 arrested at motorcycle
club; The Grand Rapids Press More than 80 people were arrested
when officers from the Grand Rapids Police Department and Michigan
State Police Rockford Post raided Stingers Motorcycle Club,
1551 College Ave. early Sunday morning.
There were between 125 and 150 people
in the club when police arrived around 2 a.m. Some patrons received
appearance tickets, while dozens of others were arrested and held
at the Kent County Jail for frequenting an illegal business.
Grand Rapids police said they were planning to charge several
people with conducting illegal alcohol sales, but did not release
details Sunday.
The club is not licensed to sell
alcohol.

on Stingers Motorcycle Club;
The black and white video obtained from
Notions Marketing, located across the street from the motorcycle
club at 1551 College Avenue SE, shows a number of Grand Rapids
and Michigan State Police vehicles pulling in shortly after 2 a.m.
